Adecco Engineering & Technical is searching for an Assistant Warranty Manager for our client, a leader in their sector, to support operations in Mississauga, ON. This position supports the objectives of the service team as it is related to warranty processes. RESPONSIBILITIES - Assistant Warranty Manager

  • Oversee warranty claim processing in SAP, especially month end process
  • Oversee warranty parts handling done by a warranty team member : receiving from dealers and shipping to suppliers
  • Oversee, maintain and improve warranty procedures in SAP
  • Training parts handling personnel as required
  • Oversee warranty retention area : monitor 5S
  • Communicate with dealers daily as required
  • Monitor outstanding claim list and follow up with suppliers to support warranty recovery
  • Process warranty credits received from suppliers
  • Assist dealers with warranty related questions
  • Participate in service conference calls and meetings, participate in technician trainings as possible, maintain parts warranty agreement with suppliers, generate various warranty related reports as required

REQUIRED - Assistant Warranty Manager

  • 2+ years of experience processing warranty claims, preferably in a similar industry
  • Demonstrated experience in analysis and planning with ability to analyze and anticipate situations, define problems and objectives, recognize alternatives and formulate solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills to solve warranty related issues
  • Ability to work accurately and pay close attention to details
  • Ability to exercise initiative, good judgement and discretion in all matters
  • Good leadership and management skills, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with flexibility, meet deadlines, and demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as a team
  • Proficient with MS Word and Excel
  • Bilingual English / French is an asset
