SharePoint Migration Analyst

Overview

Our client is seeking a SharePoint Migration Analyst (Calgary- Hybrid) to perform the requirements-gathering and validation stages, working directly with business stakeholders and technical teams. You will be responsible for attending department-specific meetings, defining migration needs, validating implementations, leading testing efforts, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout.

Responsibilities

• Participate in business requirements and design sessions for department-by-department migrations.
• Analyze current SharePoint On-Prem and DFS configurations and define solutions for SharePoint Online.
• Validate site builds against specifications (e.g., metadata, content types, document libraries).
• Execute functional testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Track QA activities, bugs, and issues; facilitate resolution.
• Coordinate with PMs, architects, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Document outcomes and testing results for reporting and audit purposes.
