Key Responsibilities :

Contract Management – Review, draft, and negotiate third-party contracts, provider agreements, and business transactions.

Regulatory Compliance – Advise on privacy and security , intellectual property , and healthcare law to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Legislative Monitoring – Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes, ensuring the organization remains compliant.

Legal Support – Provide guidance on accreditation programs, site visits, and clinic / pharmacy operations .

Policy Development – Work closely with leadership and various departments to develop policies and procedures that align with legal and ethical standards.

Representation – Represent the organization in depositions, legal discussions, and regulatory matters .

Qualifications :

Juris Doctor (JD) degree and an active California Bar license (must meet continuing education requirements).

Minimum of 3 years of legal experience in transactions, contracts, or healthcare law (preferred).

Strong knowledge of legal writing, contract negotiation, compliance, and regulatory matters .

Excellent problem-solving skills , effective communication , and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Familiarity with medical terminology, 340B program compliance, and healthcare regulations is a plus.
