Job Description - Role Responsibilities

Our end client a Defence Department, is seeking Developers for a variety of multi-year projects.

Programmer

Security Clearance

Resource must possess or be eligible for government of Canada Secret Level clearance (10 years as a Canadian resident to be found eligible)

Technical Criteria

Experience with one of the following languages : ADA, Java, C#, C++

Experience with CASE tools (eg. Rational Team, Concert, JIRA)

Experience using software process (eg. Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe))

Performed Object Oriented analysis and design

Scoring Methodology

8 pts : 8 years of experience in a minimum of 3 of the above criteria

6 pts : 4 years of experience in a minimum of 3 of the above criteria

4 pts : 12 months of experience in the last 72 months in a minimum of 2 of the above criteria

Experience as a Programmer with an Integrated Product Team for an onsite client

4 pts- 48 months

3 pts- 36 months

2 pts- 24 months

1 pt- 12 months

Experience as a Programmer on a Military Command and Control software Systems

5 pts (mandatory for senior) : 5 years

4 pts : 4 years

3 pts : 3 years

2 pts : 2 years

Education : (NOT MANDATORY, ONLY ADDITIONAL SCORING)

Degree or diploma in Engineering, computer science, or Bachelor of Science (2 pts)

OR degree or diploma in and technical field (1pt)

Scoring Range for level of resource

Senior : 14-19 pts (8 years of experience)

Intermediate : 8-13 pts (4-8 years of experience)

Junior : 1-7 pts (1-4 years of experience)
