K-7 Education Assistants - Vancouver Island

We are seeking Educational Assistants for the 2024-2025 school year in our K-7 programming on Vancouver Island in the following communities : Victoria Community Club - Wednesdays Victoria Outdoor Explorations - Mondays Educational Assistants are key members of our dynamic classroom teams! They assist the classroom teacher in a variety of organizational tasks in addition to supporting groups of students to support them as they complete learning activities. These are part-time positions as classes run 1 day per week throughout the school year (21 classes; 7 classes per term, 3 terms per year). Positions may be combined to create a larger part-time role. Qualifications & Expectations : ? Experience and / or EA certification is an asset and / or Strong interest, related experience, and willingness to learn Responsibilities may include scribing, giving direction to small groups, reading with learners, playground supervision, and preparing class materials. Remuneration : Hourly rate : $21.00 - $22.50
