Job Description

The Role:

Reporting to the Creative Director of the PENN. Penningtons brand, the Graphic Designer plays a key role in shaping and elevating the brand’s visual identity across all touchpoints. Embedded within a fashion-driven creative team and working with in-house photo studios, this role contributes to a bold, modern, and cohesive brand presence, with a strong focus on digital, social, and video content.

What you do

• Bring creative concepts to life under the direction of Creative and Art Direction, delivering visually striking content that reflects the brand’s DNA across digital, social, e-commerce, and print.
• Collaborate on concept development and translate ideas into compelling assets across multiple marketing and communication platforms.
• Lead flat-lay product photography to support elevated brand storytelling across internal and external channels.
• Capture and edit video content for social media, advertising campaigns, e-commerce, and corporate presentations.
• Explore and refine layouts, visual compositions, typography, color palettes, formats, and messaging to push creative impact.
• Partner with the Creative Director and Art Direction team to deliver high-impact creative aligned with brand positioning.
• Experiment with bold, fashion-forward creative directions, including the use of AI tools.
• Stay ahead of fashion, retail, and digital content trends through research, competitive analysis, and regular store visits.

Qualifications

Who you are:

• CEGEP diploma or equivalent in Graphic Design or a related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience, ideally in branding, fashion, or retail
• Strong creative, conceptual, and typographic skills, with a strong digital design sensibility
• Experience shooting, producing, and editing video content
• Proficiency in Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and video editing tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar), including AI tools
• Bilingual (French & English) to collaborate with vendors outside Quebec
