The Project Manager is responsible for the technical review, coordination, procurement, and logistical management of all equipment and materials required for power generation projects sold by the Sales Department. This position ensures projects are executed accurately, efficiently, and on time, maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction, quality, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Plan, execute, manage, and coordinate all project activities from initiation through close-out, including technical review, submittals, procurement, logistics, and commissioningReview and interpret customer technical specifications, drawings, and documentation to ensure project accuracy and complianceDefine project scope, develop execution plans, and establish schedules with defined milestones and deliverablesTrack progress, identify and resolve project issues, and maintain alignment with established scope, budget, and timelineMake informed technical and operational decisions throughout the project lifecycleManage and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and preservation of gross margin targetsExecute projects on or under budget while maintaining quality and client satisfactionPrepare and review project cost analyses, reports, and close-out documentationMonitor project performance to identify deviations and implement corrective measures where requiredServe as the primary point of contact for customers, consultants, and vendors, attending meetings and providing technical support as neededOversee internal and external relationships associated with assigned projects to ensure effective collaboration and communicationPrepare, submit, and track project documentation, including drawings, submittals, manuals, and as-built recordsReview returned submittals, addressing all comments and changes prior to production releaseWork closely with consulting engineers to manage project scope adjustments and execute any resulting change orders or re-quotesMaintain organized and complete project files with all relevant information, including drawings, quotations, warranties, purchase orders, and correspondencePrepare or assist in developing drawings, bills of materials, schematics, and operational documentation for in-house manufacturing or modification projectsLead and document all technical communications between customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure clarity and consistencyRequirements and Qualifications
3–5 years of project management experience in the power generation, electrical, or industrial sectorsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and database systemsStrong written and verbal communication skills for professional interactions with regulatory bodies, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and colleaguesTechnical background in electrical systems, including power, lighting, control systems, industrial networks, and generator setsWorking knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code, CSA standards, and related regulationsAbility to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, team-based environmentFamiliarity with AutoCAD and interpreting technical drawings is an assetKnowledge of engine configurations, alternators, and electromechanical power generation equipment is requiredProfessional demeanor that reflects Total Power’s core value of integrityCommitment to continuous learning and participation in company-sponsored training and development programsStrict adherence to company health and safety policies, including PPE compliance and participation in safety initiativesAvailability to work during power outages, emergencies, or declared states of emergency when requiredOther duties as assigned in support of departmental and company objectivesWorking Conditions
