Position Overview :
General Fusion is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team and support the growth of the accounting team and business intelligence to the Senior Leadership Team. General Fusion has over 140 people, has raised USD 350 million historically, and focused in the next 2 years on its game changing LM26 program located in Richmond, BC. Beyond LM26, General Fusion is planning for significant growth to over 300 people and expansion to new markets where we will construct a commercial scale demonstration of our MTF technology.
The ideal candidate is an individual with experience dealing in a mid to large project-based business environment, understands how financial information is tracked, can communicate and interpret information to a variety of stakeholders, embraces change, process improvement and automation, and interacting across all functions / groups within the organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of timely and accurate financial forecasting of cash, operating expenses, future commercial models, and modelling of various scenarios for a variety of stakeholders mostly within the Senior Leadership Team. The position will work closely with the accounting team and operations teams to understand the flow of information and to ensure completeness and accuracy of forecasts and analyses.
The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in the implementation and optimization business intelligence reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) and other FP&A software being considered.
The successful candidate will have the benefit of working with an existing finance team that is both highly capable as well as collaborative.

The typical hiring range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000. General Fusion considers many factors when determining total compensation include job specific or highly specialized knowledge, skills and experience, proficiency, job location and internal equity.
