Job Description
The Café Attendant will work with a team to maintain the cleanliness of the corporate pantry and break areas for our client.
Accountabilities :
- Aid in the serving of guests in all break areas.
- Greet and welcome clients and respond to their requests in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Stock supplies such as refreshments and utensils in all break areas including cupboards and refrigerators.
- Load dishwasher with glassware as needed.
- Replenish beverages, when necessary, in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all receiving, storage, function and service areas are clean and presentable.
- Proactive in the smooth operation of the department by answering and addressing guest concerns and foreseeing any problems.
- Co-ordinate the general housekeeping of all break areas.
- Maintain open communication with management and other employees.
- Maintain a friendly and approachable attitude towards all clients and staff.
- Receiving product for restocking and dividing it appropriately through all break areas.
Qualifications
What You'll Need to Succeed
Preferred coffee shop or past experience in food and service industry especially branded coffee outletsExcellent communication skills, you are a people person!Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodationAvailable to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and / or holidaysMeet client site operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodationEngage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communicationPrepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredientsAvailable to perform many different tasks within the site during each shiftAdditional Information
