As a Service Professional, you’ll be the face and voice of TELUS for our customers. You’ll meet with them in their homes, installing, maintaining, and supporting a range of services, including security, internet, home automation, TV, and telephone. You’ll also set up services, provide on‑site support, and highlight sales opportunities to help customers maximize their TELUS experience.

What’s in it for YOU?
Hourly wage of $27.70 (base $25.70 + $2.00 for Aerial Outside Plant Climbing) plus sales commissions, annual bonuses, regular increases, employee share purchase plans, service discounts, and a health spending account after 6 months of continuous service. Extensive training is provided.
Qualifications
You are passionate about sales with proven ability to exceed targets through technical expertiseYou excel at consultative selling and can turn service calls into sales opportunitiesYou are driven by solutions‑based selling and enjoy recommending products and services that will make your customers’ lives easierYou have natural technical aptitude and passion for technology with proficient knowledge of consumer electronicsYou thrive on objection handling and excel at building trust through technical competenceYou can work collaboratively in team environments while operating independently with minimal supervisionYou have strong problem‑solving skills and maintain high performance under time constraintsYou have normal colour vision required for working with colour‑coded wiringYou can handle a physically demanding workload including standing, lifting, climbing ladders, bending, crawling in confined spaces, and working in various indoor / outdoor environmentsYou are flexible and able to work various shifts : days, evenings, weekends, statutory holidays, with the possibility of out‑of‑town assignmentsYou’re fluent in English with a clear, genuine and persuasive communication style; additional languages are considered beneficialYour written and oral communication skills are professionalYou enjoy continuous learning and have the ability to learn formally and informally in a dynamic environmentYou can meet applicable testing requirementsRequirements
Proven customer service and sales experienceClean and valid full Class 5 Driver’s License or other provincial equivalents; a driver’s abstract will be neededCompleted a minimum of Grade 11 Math; transcripts and / or diplomas requiredGreat to have
