Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor accounts and statements, ensuring accurate and timely payments while resolving discrepancies efficiently.
• Maintain and update accounts payable reports, ensuring invoices are processed promptly and accurately.
• Ensure timely payments in adherence to company policies and deadlines.
• Handle a high volume of invoices daily, maintaining a smooth workflow.
• Assist with general accounting tasks and participate in special projects as needed.
• Serve as the main point of contact for vendor inquiries regarding payment statuses, account discrepancies, and other concerns.
• Foster and maintain strong vendor relationships to support quick and effective resolution of issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts payable role within a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with MS Dynamics is an asset.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with vendors and internal teams.
• A solid understanding of corporate accounting and finance principles, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
