Greenfield is looking for an Instrumentation & Control Technician to join its growing team.

Experience Required
5-8 years' experience in a similar position, in a continuous production plant an assetKnowledge of electrical hazard classes (Arc Flash)Experience relating to the effective management of health & safety and production issues in a continuous operating environment.Training
Technical degree in industrial electronics or equivalentClass “C” license in electricityJob responsibilities as an Instrumentation & Control Technician
Install and maintain electrical and electronic systems;Diagnose and fine-tune distillery instrumentation;Familiarity with variable speed drives (ABB, Eaton, Allen Bradley);Understand / modify the programming of various software packages, including those from the Rockwell family for process diagnostics via the DCS, as well as PLCs and HMIs (Plantpax, Factorytalk, RSLogix 5000).Read and interpret electrical and electronic drawings;Participate actively in various preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs (e.g. thermography);Respond promptly to the needs of various departments : production, engineering, quality assurance, etc.Share technical information with the department manager, colleagues and team members;Participate in equipment optimization and other plant projects;Maintain up-to-date files, records and reports on work accomplished, as well as an inventory of resources used to accomplish regular tasks or solve problems encountered;Have a working knowledge of continuous improvement techniques.Total Compensation And Benefits
