As a Hose Assembler / Technician, you will use your strong mechanical aptitude to receive and assemble hosing, parts, equipment, and supplies. Your work will directly impact the business’s bottom line by fulfilling customer requirements and orders.
Your Duties Will Include
- Work from bills of lading, packing slips, customer orders, branch requests, written and verbal instructions.
- Receive and examine the condition and count of deliveries; weigh as necessary; indicate acceptance or note discrepancies on bill of lading and sign off. Open containers and verify packing list; mark items; report discrepancies to supervision.
- Place items on skids, racks, or other locations. Maintain inventory levels of material and supplies and notify appropriate personnel for need to order.
- Receive order; count, weigh and verify items; report discrepancies; measure and cut proper hose length; assemble unit using fittings and other hardware as directed; inspect to ensure adherence to customer requirements.
- Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervision. Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
Position Requirements
Use ordinary arithmetic.Experience working with packing slips, written and verbal instructions, and cutting instruments.Over three years and up to five years’ experience in a similar role.High school diploma.Benefits
