Job descriptionSafely guide whitewater rafting trips on the Kicking Horse River in varying water levels and weather conditions. Provide clear and engaging safety briefings and paddling demonstrations. Deliver exceptional guest service and ensure all participants feel comfortable and informed. Rig and de-rig rafts and gear before and after trips. Perform routine gear maintenance and equipment checks. Assist with trip logistics including transportation, loading, and unloading rafts. Maintain accurate trip logs and follow company safety procedures. Represent the company in a professional and enthusiastic manner at all times. 2 years whitewater guiding experience on oars in Class III or higher rivers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Physically fit and able to work outdoors in variable conditions. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Outdoor, physically demanding work in varying weather and water conditions. Workdays may include early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Team-oriented environment with a focus on guest experience and safety.

Wage : $25 – $28.85 per hour and up, depending on experience and number of seasons guiding on the Kicking Horse River or comparable rivers. Year-end bonus.
