HireArt is helping our client find a Technical Program Manager (IT Operations) to partner closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver complex IT programs and advance organizational IT maturity.
In this role, you'll lead and support initiatives across enterprise systems, infrastructure, and IT operations, while strengthening PMO governance, standards, and operating frameworks. You’ll play a key role in driving execution, alignment, and visibility across a diverse portfolio of technical programs.
The ideal candidate is a strong influencer and organizer with the ability to lead through ambiguity, communicate clearly at all levels, and take ownership of outcomes. You bring structured problem-solving skills, technical curiosity, and adaptability to evolving business priorities.
As a Technical Program Manager (IT Operations), you'll :
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT programs across enterprise systems, infrastructure, and IT operations.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, roadmaps, budgets, resources, and vendor deliverables aligned to business priorities.
- Identify dependencies, risks, and constraints, and communicate mitigation strategies clearly.
- Partner with enterprise systems, infrastructure, and operations teams to drive execution and alignment.
- Facilitate alignment between business stakeholders, technical leads, and executive sponsors.
- Contribute to PMO governance, standardized delivery processes, and portfolio intake and prioritization.
- Provide executive-level reporting, ensuring project documentation and artifacts remain accurate and up to date.
- Support change management, go-live readiness, post-launch stabilization, and continuous improvement across programs.
Requirements
Strong experience managing complex technical programs within an IT organizationExperience delivering projects in at least two of the following areas : Enterprise systems (ERP, HRIS, CRM, finance, supply chain)Infrastructure (networking, data centers, servers, storage, cloud)IT operations (service management, automation, monitoring, support)Demonstrated ability to partner with both technical and business stakeholdersExperience managing vendors, partners, and cross-functional workstreamsExcellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiencesStrong problem-solving skills and ability to drive clarity in ambiguous situationsAbility to manage multiple concurrent initiatives with competing prioritiesExperience setting up and managing projects in Jira and ConfluenceFamiliarity with Agile, Waterfall, ITIL, and hybrid delivery frameworksAbility to create and maintain effective project documentation, dashboards, and reportsPreferred Qualifications
Experience contributing to or establishing PMO governance and standardsExperience with enterprise portfolio management toolsComfort working in organizations undergoing transformation or modernizationCertifications such as PMP, PgMP, CSM, ITIL Foundation, or SAFeExperience with cloud platforms and modern enterprise SaaS ecosystemsBackground supporting integrations, data flows, and cross-system dependenciesBenefits :
