Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Collect materials from and return materials to the designed storage areas
• Encourage student involvement by ensuring students begin warm‑up activities and assisting students on an individual basis
• Practice excellence in teaching when offering Engineering for Kids programs
• Ensure classes operate smoothly by conducting tasks such as observing and recording data during student tests, managing supplies during class, and assisting in demonstrations
• Provide appropriate instruction that considers the unique abilities of every student
• Constantly strive to improve instruction through reflection and evaluation
• Demonstrate initiative by seeking additional Engineering for Kids training and further education

Primary Duties

• Support Engineering for Kids classes in a professional manner
• Be courteous and approachable to students, parents, and staff
• Follow policies of the franchise location which may include, but are not limited to, safety procedures and dress code

Compensation

$18.50 - $20.00 per hour
