Job Description

18.00 Per Hour

We are looking for Veterans for employment. We understand the traits and discipline you have exhibited, and we at Allied Universal want to help you find a suitable job.

As a Security Guard, you will serve and safeguard clients across various industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, and Government.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments may vary by client site.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Subject to background checks in accordance with laws; qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered.
• Must pass a drug screening where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state / local laws and may be needed before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
