Seeking New Enthusiastic Swim Coaches in Stouffville!

Special Olympics Ontario is seeking new and enthusiastic coaches and volunteers for a brand new Stouffville swim program for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The program will run weekly from February–April 2026.

What you’ll be doing

Guide and support swimmers in a safe, inclusive environment, assist in program planning, and help maintain a positive and motivating atmosphere for all participants.

Roles Available

• Head Coach(s)
• Team Manager(s)
• General Volunteers

Requirements

• Willing to undergo a background or police records check (Vulnerable Sector Screening)
• Must be 16+ (volunteers 18+ for lead roles)
• Complete free online Safe Sport training course
• Comfortable commuting to the Stouffville location (2 Park Drive, Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario L4A4K1)
