Position Overview

Kruger is a Canadian-based company investing in the modernization of its digital assets to support innovation and growth. Our Application Delivery group supports over 130 business applications, including SAP solutions, JDE software, shop floor systems, and HRIS platforms. We are seeking a strategic leader to drive quality, governance, and release excellence across our product landscape.

The Manager, QA, Governance, and Release Management will lead cross‑functional initiatives to ensure robust product lifecycle governance, effective testing strategies, secure architecture, and reliable production releases. This role requires strong indirect leadership across teams and deep expertise in SAP and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Governance and Lifecycle Management – Define and implement governance frameworks for product lifecycle management, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and modernization goals.
• Quality Assurance Leadership – Build and lead a QA practice with scalable test strategies, implementing automated and manual testing protocols for application reliability.
• Product Architecture and Business Solutions – Collaborate with stakeholders to design optimal business solutions and work with Enterprise Architecture team to provide architectural oversight and recommendations for new and existing systems.
• Landscape and Security Oversight – Ensure the application landscape is secure, compliant, and well documented, partnering with cybersecurity teams to manage product‑level security risks.
• Release Management – Own the release process for production readiness across all supported applications, coordinating with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployments.
• Service Delivery and SLA Reporting – Monitor support request handling, ensure adherence to SLAs, generate performance reports, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT application delivery, with at least 3 years in QA, governance, or release management.
• Proven experience with SAP products and enterprise systems (JDE, HRIS, shop floor).
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle governance and release processes.
• Experience building QA practices and implementing test automation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.

Languages

• Bilingual – French / English

Knowledge of English is required for this specific position as Kruger deals with partners across North America and the successful candidate will be required to communicate frequently with them.
