We are recruiting for a Part‑Time, Permanent Early Learning Facilitator to support the EarlyON Child and Family Centre Programs and at times, the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) Entry to School Program. Working as part of a team, this position is responsible for the daily operation of our EarlyON Child and Family Centres and / or Satellite Centres. This includes providing age‑appropriate programming for children age 0–6 and parent education, including workshops, information and referral. This position also supports the Ontario Autism Entry to School Program operated by Empower Simcoe on an as‑needed basis.
Compensation Package
- 22.5 hour / 3 days per week permanent part time (Tues, Wed, Thurs)
- Minimum starting rate of pay is $29.16 per hour
- 11 paid statutory holidays

Early Childhood Education diploma or degree, or an equivalent of education and experience as deemed acceptable by the employer, ensuring the program is recognized by the College of Early Childhood EducatorsMust be a registered member of the College of Early Childhood Educators in good standingA minimum of two years' experience working with families and their children; working with children who have a diagnosis of ASD; and working with community partners in the Early Learning sector and school professionalsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating sound judgement, diplomacy, tact and listening skillsAbility to determine child and family strengths through the use of various assessment toolsUnderstanding of and ability to apply current Ministry of Education pedagogical practices and policy, with awareness of the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014Applicants who are bilingual in French, Spanish, Portuguese, Tamil or Urdu are preferredSpecial Factors Of This Position
