Responsibilities :
Lead and supervise midnight shift operations to achieve Quality, Cost, and Delivery targets.Provide clear direction, coaching, and mentorship to the production team.Maintain discipline, organization, and control on the shop floor.Schedule and assign work to meet production demands.Monitor plant equipment performance and ensure optimal use of resources.Track productivity and efficiency metrics; communicate results and feedback effectively.Work closely with Quality and Set-Up Technicians to ensure product conformance.Coordinate the delivery and removal of raw materials, packaging, and skids at work centers.Perform layered audits and safety inspections; support and participate in corrective actions.Foster a culture of Safety, Teamwork, and Continuous Improvement.Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, processes, and shop rules.Train and develop new and existing employees.Communicate and document shift events for other Production Supervisors and the Plant Manager.Perform other related tasks as assigned by management to support production goals.Qualifications :
Minimum College diploma; apprenticeship or technical diploma preferred.2-3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.Experience in a machine shop or with CNC transfer machines is a strong asset.Forklift operator's license and / or forklift experience considered an asset.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; working knowledge of GD&T.Skilled in using basic measuring tools such as micrometers, Verniers, and dial indicators.Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a positive attitude.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently.Proficient with basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).Motivated self-starter with a "can-do" attitude and collaborative personality.Fast learner with the ability to be trained effectively.Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaAre you interested in this position?
