Job descriptionResponsible for the staging shop floor equipment, as well as operation, support, troubleshooting and standardization of the Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in a mission critical 24X7 production system environment. Accountable for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) IT support to all Plasman facilities and responsible for production support and maintenance, including off hours / weekend support issues and possible scheduled shift rotations. Accountable for first line support of the + MES workstations and + barcode printers and scanners across Plasman locations. Responsible for commissioning, setup, configuration and deployment of hardware and software for MES projects and product launches Responsible for proactive and preventative maintenance and support of MES equipment; PC's, networking, barcode printers, scanners, and other MES related equipment. Troubleshoot and support MES / RTL and other IT related helpdesk tickets. Ensure appropriate equipment inventory is maintained and available for production use. Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems. Promote an atmosphere of teamwork at all times. Ensure that a clean and safe work environment is always maintained. Ensure that sufficient resources are available for each department including training, safety requirements, personnel, work instructions, procedures, and related tools. Post secondary school diploma or equivalent 1-3 years of experience in IT / Manufacturing environments 1-3years of experience in manufacturing execution system (MES) and or IT systems Prior barcode / label printer and scanner experience Proficiencies in MS SQL, .NET, PMP, SCRUM, Etc. Domain experience / certifications with MES (manufacturing execution systems) MOM (manufacturing operations management), SCADA, and MRP / ERP related systems Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
