Our client, an established Insurance company in Canada is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Project Coordinator to their team.

This role will be key in supporting the planning, execution, and completion of software projects. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft tools, and experience with SharePoint.

The ideal candidate will have a background in implementing software projects and a passion for ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently.

This is a 1-year contract to start onsite 5 days a week in Edmonton. Key Responsibilities : Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including task assignments, timelines, and milestones.

Coordinate with project team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.

Utilize Microsoft tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Word) to create and manage project documentation.Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.

Communication and Collaboration : Serve as a primary point of contact for project team members, stakeholders, and clients.

Facilitate effective communication among project participants to ensure alignment and address issues promptly.Organize and lead project meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and follow-up on action items.

Set up and manage SharePoint sites for project documentation and collaboration.Ensure all project-related information is accurately stored and easily accessible to team members.

Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.Monitor and report on project risks, issues, and changes.

Support the implementation of software projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.

g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration) or equivalent experience.4+ years of experience in project coordination or project management, preferably in a technical or software development environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft tools, including MS Project, Excel, Word, and Outlook.Experience with SharePoint for document management and collaboration.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
