Audi Downtown Vancouver iscurrently looking to fill a position of a Parts Manager.
Essential Duties :
- Ability to establish and maintain goodrelationships with customers and to exceed their expectations.
- Knowledge of automotive systems.
- Contributes to dealership profitability.
- Generate gross profit in the parts departmentthrough the sales of parts and accessories.
- Manage departmental expenses so a net profitis earned monthly.
- Establish and maintain a consumer relationspolicy regarding wholesale customer follow-up, material return, complainthandling, etc.
- Establish and maintain programs designed totrain, develop and motivate department employees.
- Set clear standards for customerhandling.
- Establish and maintain an inventory controlsystem that meets the dealership's internal, warranty, retail, and wholesalecustomer’s needs.
- Establish and maintain purchasing policiesincluding purchase orders, inventory guide figures, order code status,etc.
- Establish and maintain warranty scrap and corehandling procedures including storage, documentation, material returns,designated personnel, etc.
- Establish and maintain an inventory storagesystem to include bin locations, bin numbering, in tags, etc.
- Maintain dealership equipment in effectiveworking condition. Establish equipment maintenance schedules wherenecessary.
- Advise management on the equipment neededfor the department.
- Establish and maintain the shipping / receivingpolicy with wholesale routes, delivery timetables, check-ins andinspection, etc.
- Use inventory control system processingprocedures and management reports that permit prompt, complete, and accuratefeedback of the inventory condition (turnover, obsolescence,part aging, guide quantities, lost sales, etc.).
- Establish and maintain a relationship with thefactory that results in a sound working arrangement.
- Initiate housekeeping, safety, and securityprocedures that result in a safe and attractive working environment.
- Maintain catalogs, price schedules, and othertechnical bulletins that are convenient to employees needing them.
- Establish and maintain good working relationswith other departments.
- Preparefor and participate in meetings with management and otherdepartments
