Clinical Nurse Lead – Bayshore HealthCare

Location : BC Immigration Holding Centre (Onsite, 5 days / week)

Schedule : Flexible hours + rotating on-call

Reports To : Manager, Clinical Practice

Pay : $90,000 / yr

Job Summary : The Clinical Nurse Lead provides onsite clinical leadership and operational support within the BC Immigration Holding Centre. This role ensures high‑quality, client‑centered care through coordination of nursing activities, direct clinical practice, and collaboration with internal and external partners. It supports a multidisciplinary team and may be required to work on the floor as an RN when staffing gaps arise. This position plays a key role in maintaining clinical standards, promoting safety, and facilitating communication between healthcare staff, centre operations, and community resources.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership & Coordination

• Provide day‑to‑day leadership and guidance to the nursing team, supporting clinical decision‑making, workflow management, and adherence to best practices.
• Oversee nursing assignments, monitor staffing levels, and step into direct RN duties when required to maintain continuity of care.
• Support new staff orientation, ongoing training, and performance development in collaboration with the Manager of Clinical Practice.
