Overview

Our member, RJ's Mechanical, is seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Technician to join their team in Woodstock, ON. RJ's Mechanical is a local HVAC/R company that has been delivering honest, certified heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning and refrigeration solutions for homes, businesses and industry for over two decades.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems.
• Inspect HVAC systems and components for potential issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system problems.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and replacing filters.
• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
• Test HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Follow blueprints, design specifications, and manufacturer instructions.
• Comply with all safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification or associate degree in HVAC or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
• Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to HVAC work.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Skills

• Ability to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
• Understanding of plumbing principles related to HVAC systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience with appliance repair and troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for diagnosing system issues.
• Welding skills for joining metal components.

Job Details

• Job Type: Full‑time.
• Pay: $43.50 - $53.50 per hour.
• Expected Hours: 40 - 50 per week.
