Must be currently enrolled full time in a university degree program pursing a bachelor or master degree.  Must not have graduated before September 2026

As a Co-op Applications Engineer at Renesas you learn about Renesas flagship timing devices for the wireless and data center markets. Your primary focus will be measuring the typical performance of our phase locked loop (PLL) devices on the bench and automating this measurement. This will require extensive lab work and Python scripting. Through this project you will learn about the devices and their uses.

Qualifications :

• Working toward a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering
• Coursework in circuit analysis and control system theory.
• Good understanding of frequency domain signals analysis including BODE plots FFTs spectrum analysis.
• Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers and function generators
• Familiarity with Python
• Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
• Self-starter not afraid to ask questions and seek guidance
• Curious with a strong desire to grow
• Good attention to detail.

This posting is for a new vacancy.  The expected hourly pay range for this position is $26 / hr - $31 / hr. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities. Please note that the final offer amount including any applicable bonuses will be dependent on geographic location relevant experience and skillset of the candidate.

We have adopted a hybrid model that gives employees the ability to work remotely two days a week while ensuring that we come together as a team in the office the rest of the time. The designated in-office days are Tuesday through Thursday for innovation collaboration and continuous learning.
