Telecommunications Student Installer

Lakeland Networks is a fibre‑optic internet service provider (ISP) based in Bracebridge, looking for a professional, technically capable, confident, and energetic Student Installer. Your primary responsibilities will be to assist with provisioning and delivering customer‑premises equipment to facilitate equipment upgrades, install technological equipment, and communicate and coordinate with internal and external customers. This co‑op placement is planned to begin in the Summer of 2026 (May‑August).

Responsibilities

• Plan installations, migration, and decommissioning of customer premise equipment
• Analyze technical specifications to prepare installation schematic and documentation
• Conduct site surveys and audits when required
• Communicate project progress and concerns with team members
• Quickly shift priorities and adapt to changes to meet organizational and department requirements
• Other duties as assigned

$21.00 per hour
