With a strong emphasis on collaboration, they work with leading designers and architects to create unique residences that reflect the city’s evolving needs.Why This Role Exists : As the company continues expanding its multi-family developments, they are looking for a Design Director to oversee and drive the creative vision behind their residential projects. This role is critical in maintaining consistency across the brand’s growing portfolio and ensuring each development delivers an exceptional living experience.Key Responsibilities : Foster strong partnerships with architects, interior designers, and project teams.Lead the selection process for design consultants and procurement partners.Ensure projects align with the company’s overarching aesthetic and branding strategy.Collaborate closely with development and construction teams to integrate design into project planning.Guide the selection of furniture, art, and decor alongside operations and development teams.Work with the marketing team to align branding efforts with design elements.Balance creative innovation with functionality to produce world-class residential spaces.Provide ongoing design direction and updates to leadership.Essential Qualifications : Background in architecture, design, or a related field.At least 10 years of experience in a creative or design role, including 5+ years in leadership.Strong grasp of construction processes and real estate development.Multi-disciplinary expertise, preferably in hospitality, commercial, or retail environments.A proven track record of leading teams and influencing design decisions.Exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications : Architectural education (preferred but not mandatory).Experience working on high-end residential projects.Knowledge of placemaking strategies and community-focused design.Familiarity with branding and marketing collaboration.Work Structure : This role is based in Toronto, requiring on-site collaboration with internal teams and external partners.#J-18808-Ljbffr
