Job description

Position Overview

The physiotherapist's role with pre- and post-op patients and inpatients, and occasionally in outpatient departments, consists mainly of :

  • Evaluate the clients’ needs.
  • Identify the priorities, prepare and apply treatment plans.
  • Work in cooperation with the members of the multidisciplinary team.

PERMANENT FULL-TIME POSITION

  • Shifts : Days, including weekends and the possibility of evenings.

    As a pre-condition of employment :

    What we are looking for

  • Masters of physiotherapy or equivalent education
  • Certificate of Registration of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Clinical experience of two years and more would be considered an asset.
  • Experience in working in a variety of clinical settings i.e. : inpatient rehabilitation, ICU, ER, acute care and outpatient clinic with a variety of patients who have a wide range of conditions, including neurological, neuro-musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and respiratory.
  • Possess knowledge of both official languages.
