Repair & Maintenance Tech - Lake Country Co-op @ Facilities Prince Albert

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full-Time Facilities Repair and Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Team based in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan . This position will serve all our locations in North Central Saskatchewan.

Reporting to Facilities Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following :

• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
• Conduct the ongoing inspections, maintenance, and repairs of the structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing including manual and automatic car wash bays.
• Maintain compliance with Asset Protection and Health and Safety Standards always completing assigned work in a safe manner, while wearing all appropriate PPE, obeying rules of the road, and following all appropriate safety policies and procedures.
• Determine best practices for implementing ongoing preventative measures and addressing the reactive and emergent requirements to prolong life of existing and new equipment.
• Respond to building deficiencies in a timely and professional manner.
• Use data base and communication tools to track assigned work, record notes, and close cases.
• Live our brand “You’re at Home Here” by presenting a positive, collaborative, and professional image of the organization to all customers, visitors, members.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
