Your future role on our team
Your role as an intern will be to help with proposals, engineering andplant and site projects, primarily in advanced fuels and chemicals, but in other sectors as well.
With us, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Analyze and solve a variety of technical problems in industrial mechanics and piping
- Work on small, medium and large multidisciplinary mandates with a team of engineers and technicians
- Carry out studies and detailed engineering mandates for brownfield and greenfield expansion and construction projects and existing client installations
- Prepare plans and specifications for mechanical mandates based on established guidelines
- Perform calculations
- Prepare material lists and bills of lading in accordance with codes, standards, drawings and other established methods, in compliance with BBA’s quality system requirements
- Perform technical information surveys at client locations
- Assist more experienced staff with the technical aspects of more complex tasks
- Occasionally coordinate the work of drafters or others at the request of a senior engineer
- Occasionally supervise contractors on site

Job requirements at a glance
- Ongoing undergraduate studies in mechanical engineering
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite and other applications, databases and interfaces
- Asset: knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, AFT Fathom and ANSYS applications
- Asset: ASP Construction card
- Asset: mechanical experience in the industrial, energy or mining sector
- Asset: bilingual, both written and spoken (English and French)
