We are seeking a Project Manager to support our growing team in North America . This role requires a hands-on project leader who can plan and execute projects to completion, guide cross-functional teams, manage risks and budgets, and contribute to PTAG’s growth through mentoring, business development support, and process improvement.

Role & Responsibilities

In this role, you will :

Lead the planning, coordination, execution, and close-out of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with contractual, financial, and regulatory requirements.

Define and maintain project WBS, schedule, cost baseline, and risk registers.

Monitor performance metrics (SPI, CPI) and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Manage engineering, procurement, and construction interfaces within a matrixed environment.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

Facilitate project meetings, progress reviews, and stakeholder reporting.

Foster a highly collaborative, accountable, and inclusive team environment.

Mentor and coach junior project staff, promoting knowledge transfer and professional growth.

Implement PTAG’s Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety standards throughout all project phases.

Ensure compliance with corporate governance and reporting frameworks.

Lead or contribute to internal process improvement efforts, including the development of tools, templates, and best practices.

Participate in knowledge sharing sessions and contribute to PTAG’s internal project management community.

Support proposal writing, RFP responses, and client engagement initiatives.

Drive adoption of digital collaboration and project management technologies.

Qualifications / Requirements

To succeed in this role, you bring :

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (required).

5–8 years of progressive project management experience in capital projects within the power, energy, or infrastructure industries.

Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple concurrent projects.

Strong understanding of project controls, risk management, and earned value analysis.

Experience working with government-funded or large industrial projects preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with project management and collaboration software (e.g., Primavera, SharePoint).

PMP certification or P.Eng license preferred (or in progress).

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Must be willing and able to travel and / or relocate within North America to support client projects as required.
