RATE of PAY : $62.66 / hourJOB SUMMARY : All groups will be staffed and supervised by UGDSB teachers with the support of Social Workers and CYCs.As part of our summer mental health and wellness planning, identity-specific mental health supports are prioritized for our Indigenous, Black and 2SIALGBTQ+ students and students referred to specialized teams. Summer mental health supports are meant to be a continuation of service over the summer months and support to transition into a new school year for those currently receiving support from board mental health staff.
- Teachers are required for the following positions from July 7th - 11th, 2025. Teachers will be responsible for following the UGDSB field trip policy and procedures, including the supervision of students on the bus and during the field trip program. The group will focus on elevating and affirming the voices of 2SIALGBTQ+ youth. Students in Grade 7-8 will be welcomed in a culturally responsive student leadership program for 2SIALGBTQ+ students and allies. The students will receive leadership training based on the Ontario Educational Leadership Centre program, which emphasizes developing a growth mindset through high-challenge team-building activities. Participants will receive training and support to develop a project that they will be leading at their home school in September 2025.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, ASSETS :
