Role Overview
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects across various stages of the lifecycle, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth project execution, identify potential issues early, and facilitate communication among stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans to guide execution of assigned projects.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring completion within scope, budget, and schedule.
- Identify potential risks and challenges, proactively mitigating issues that may affect project timelines or quality.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and clients.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing progress updates, resolving issues, and ensuring alignment on project goals.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and a culture of excellence while providing guidance, motivation, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project expenses to ensure they align with the allocated budget and report variances.
- Address project obstacles promptly, developing solutions to keep projects on track and escalating when appropriate.
- Assist in refining project management processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Travel to client sites as necessary for project scoping, training, and implementation.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.Experience implementing solutions for utilities, including CIS, MDM, Service / Work Order Management.Technical acumen in understanding core solutions to provide contextual details to Engineering regarding project deliverables.Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.Strong communication skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, stakeholders, and clients.Strong leadership skills, with ability to motivate and guide cross‑functional teams.Exceptional problem‑solving and decision‑making ability, focused on quickly identifying issues and implementing practical and efficient solutions.Time management skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.>
