Senior Manager, Canadian Resource Centre (CRC) – Data and Analytics

We are hiring a full-time Senior Manager to join the CRC National Management team. The CRC Senior Manager will assist the audit business units and the CRC Champions network D&A Center monthly reporting and budget modelling to manage CRC objectives and related KPIs. A primary role is to provide direct support and guidance to both offshore and onshore teams so that Canadian audit engagement teams can effectively leverage the CRC D&A Center of Excellence on their audits.

What You Will Do

• Operations – Oversee day-to-day operations of the CRC D&A Center of Excellence in collaboration with the CRC national management team and CDST team; provide direct support to audit engagement teams to leverage the CRC D&A Center of Excellence on engagements; oversee quality improvement within the QMCI team in India and implement solutions to ensure high audit quality and deliverables; prepare training materials, how-to guides, newsletters, and guidance documents for the internal CRC portal; leverage firm processes to support the business.
• Data & Analytics – Identify potential new services, offerings, and tools; perform annual budgeting, forecasting and hours/FTE modelling using data analytics programs; participate in business development by identifying opportunities and assisting with proposals; collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure licensing and access control; review and approve requests for access to standard software and tools (e.g., Visio Pro, Alteryx, PowerBI).
• Other – Act as a performance manager to junior team members; willingness to travel internationally and obtain required visas/work permits for India; may create, interpret and apply policies, practices, laws and regulations; align work hours to ensure overlap with offshore management for smooth oversight.

What You Bring To The Role

• Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in a public practice accounting firm, with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Senior manager or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience with KPMG Canada.
• Minimum 5 years of auditing and team management experience.
• Diploma or bachelor’s in computer science, Database Management or Programming (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency with databases (SQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.) is an asset.
• Proficiency with analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, Power Query, Python, R, Alteryx, PowerApps/Power Automate).
• Knowledge of ServiceNow is an asset.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities; ability to work independently and take ownership; willingness to innovate and improve processes.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); bilingual French and English is an asset.
• Experience with Audit Foundations courses or similar is an asset.
• Comfortable working in virtual and in-person environments; advanced MS Office and Adobe Skills.

Additional Information

This position requires written and oral fluency in English. The successful candidate will support KPMG employees nationally and communicate with English-speaking colleagues. Pay Range and Benefits

The expected base salary range for this position is $86,000 to $150,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. Total rewards program information is available as part of the compensation package.
