BMO is currently sourcing for a PMO Operations Manager to support the delivery team. This is an onsite contract role in Toronto, Ontario (4 days in office per week).
Role Overview:
The PMO Operations Manager is responsible for the daily execution of PMO processes, focusing on governance, control testing, and compliance activities. This role is vital for ensuring operational consistency and data integrity, which supports delivery teams in achieving enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute quarterly control testing and document results, ratings, and remediation actions.
- Monitor and manage Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), ensuring breaches are tracked and resolved in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and submit PMRO attestation packages, including GRCE documentation and control deficiency tracking.
- Maintain Clarity data accuracy and ensure timely updates aligned with governance milestones.
- Implement and maintain automation tools (e.g., Power BI, Selenium) to streamline control testing and reporting.
- Track operational metrics and report on PMO performance, efficiency, and compliance.
- Support onboarding and training of PMs and SMs on governance and control expectations.
Must-Have Skills:
- 10 years of project management experience.
- Expertise in control testing and compliance, including running quarterly tests and tracking fixes.
- Strong risk management skills, specifically in monitoring Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
- Proficiency in maintaining data accuracy within Clarity.
- Experience using automation tools such as Power BI and Selenium.
- Ability to leverage and improve dashboards and reports for tracking PMO performance.
- Knowledge of governance support, including submitting attestation packages and supporting PM onboarding.
Ideal Candidate:
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.
- Previous experience in the banking sector.
