Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and a minimum of 2-3+ years in project management
• Project management experience in a manufacturing facility or mechanical engineering environment
• Background in either Industrial/Mechanical/Chemical engineering or similar

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment (CNC equipment)

Job Summary

Insight Global is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join a top aerospace company in Longueuil, QC. The Industrial Engineering Project Manager will lead strategic and operational initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes at the manufacturing plant. This includes capacity planning, equipment layout design, and implementing Industry 4.0 technologies. The role demands strong project management skills, collaboration across teams, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement in a dynamic aerospace environment. This role is 5× week onsite in Longueuil, QC.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with production and manufacturing teams.
• Conduct capacity analyses and align production capabilities with demand.
• Lead capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate shop layout changes and equipment installations.
• Develop strategic plans incorporating Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Analyze production issues and recommend business‑aligned solutions.
