Purpose :
The purpose of the Building Cleaner role is to maintain the general upkeep of our Carleton Place building, keeping the building clean and in orderly condition. The role will be responsible for ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care of products. Duties include notifying management of the need for repairs.
Responsibilities :
- Undertake cleaning, scrubbing, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and washing of all public areas of the building, including all hallways, walkways and lobby, elevators, bicycle room, mailroom, and mechanical room.
- Clean and organize public sundecks and patios, including cleaning BBQ and pool deck, Tenant Lounge.
- Clean / wash gym equipment. Dust exterior and wet wash interior of accessible lockers in men's and women's change rooms.
- Empty garbage bins and clean / sweep garbage area.
- Clean fire hose cabinets and extinguishers on each floor.
- Use floor cleaning equipment such as buffer / shampooer.
- Maintaining and upkeep all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products.
- Ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care of products.
- Keeping all public spaces neat and tidy.
- Reporting repairs and replacements needed when encountered on the job.
Additional responsibilities may be added from time to time depending on organizational requirements .
Requirements :
