Position Overview : We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a proven track record in both e-commerce and retail. The ideal candidate will possess extensive financial management experience, strategic acumen, and a hands-on approach to leadership. This role demands a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the online retail sector, including financial planning, accounting, budgeting, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support AutoShack’s retail expansion and online sales growth.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to achieve profitability targets and support business objectives.
- Provide guidance on mergers, acquisitions, and business development opportunities, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
Retail and E-Commerce Expansion
Lead financial strategies for opening and managing up to 50 new retail locations, including site selection, cost analysis, and ROI evaluations.Partner with operational teams to optimize retail operations, ensuring financial sustainability.Drive growth in the online B2C sales division, focusing on customer experience, operational efficiency, and profitability.Capital Management and Fundraising
Manage capital structure, including securing debt and equity financing to fund expansion initiatives.Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions.Ensure optimal utilization of financial resources to achieve long-term growth objectives.Financial Reporting and Compliance
Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audit requirements, and financial reporting standards.Lead internal and external audits to maintain accountability and transparency.Operational Finance and Systems
Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial controls.Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.Evaluate and optimize budgeting processes to align with financial targets and company goals.Leadership and Team Management
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.Collaborate with the executive team to drive overall business performance and strategic decision-making.Act as a trusted advisor to the Company President on financial matters, providing insights to support long-term growth.Qualifications : Education :
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;CPA or CounterpartExperience :
Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or equivalent role.Extensive experience in both e-commerce and retail is essential.Proven track record of leading financial strategies for significant business growth and expansion.Skills :
