Bruce Kia is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service & Parts Consultant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who excels at building customer relationships, coordinating service and parts operations, and ensuring a seamless experience for both customers and technicians.
Responsibilities :
Greet customers, manage inquiries and concerns, and clearly communicate service and parts information while delivering exceptional customer service
Review vehicle history and educate customers on recommended maintenance and repairs
Prepare detailed repair orders, obtain customer authorization, and translate concerns into repair terminology
Identify and explain vehicle issues and recommended services in a clear, professional manner
Verify warranties, maintenance plans, recalls, and in-service dates; maintain warranty compliance
Prioritize work orders appropriately and balance the service till daily, submitting logs to accounting
Oversee the back parts counter, assist technicians with quotes and orders, and verify parts accuracy upon arrival
Ensure stock and customer tires are properly labeled, tracked, and stored
Qualifications :
Valid Class drivers license with an acceptable driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
1-3 years of experience as a Service or Parts Advisor, or a comparable role (Experience in Automotive is considered a valuable asset)
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Basic proficiency with computer systems and inventory management software
Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
