Staff Plus is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press / Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various press machines, ensuring high-quality production, and adhering to safety standards. This role requires technical proficiency with CNC machinery, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge to support efficient manufacturing processes. The Press Operator will play a vital role in producing precision components using advanced equipment such as press brake machines, CNC lathes, and milling machines. Experience with CAD software, welding, and warehouse operations is a plus, along with strong attention to quality control and safety protocols.

Responsibilities
- Operate press brake machines, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other manufacturing equipment with precision.
- Program and troubleshoot CNC machinery using Fanuc controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to ensure accurate production.
- Set up and adjust machinery for different production runs, including calibration using calipers and hand tools.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to meet specifications.
- Utilize forklift operation for material handling within the warehouse or production area.
- Assist in assembly, packaging, and warehousing activities as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on machine performance and process efficiency.
- Proven experience operating press brake machines, CNC programming, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar manufacturing equipment.
- Experience using press operator
- Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks is preferred.
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls, PLC systems, welding techniques, and machining processes.
- Ability to use hand tools, calipers, and basic math skills for precise measurements.
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is advantageous.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures to ensure product standards are met.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
