PEP card (an asset); Hold a valid Canadian work permit. We are looking for a heavy vehicle mechanic in Gatineau, Outaouais.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for bus maintenance and workshop organization (equipment and store).
Mechanics will be called upon to…
- Repair and maintain school buses;
- Carry out road tests;
- Complete mechanical maintenance reports and work orders;
- Perform paint and finishing repairs;
- Follow-up on the Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP);
- Compile parts lists for repairs and keep inventory up to date;
- Monitor warranties;
- Issue parts release slips on work orders;
- Organize workshop (equipment, store);
- Research technical documentation;
- Clean work and wash areas;
- Install radio, camera and GPS equipment on new vehicles;
- Detect mechanical problems;
- Any other related tasks.
Full-time daytime schedule | Allowance for tools and boots | Work uniform provided | Ongoing training offered.
Salary : $ / hour based on experience
