As a Senior Social Media Analyst you are a well known and respected member of the team and wider organization, working closely with team members on our social, accounts and strategy teams to deliver durable insights that have thought and action. You have a “social-first” mindset and will use that in your approach to measuring data and delivering insights for our content. Your impact is beyond the domain you serve, proactively identifying areas for insight optimization, areas of redundancy, ways to make data more actionable, ways to improve process and efficiency, defining solutions and best practices to constantly improve the way we work.  You are a leader of a small team and play a central role in driving the discipline forward.

what you'll do.

  • Collaborate with Campaign Leads to understand the objectives of campaigns and how you can provide helpful analysis and recommendations
  • Track, collect and analyze KPI performance data across digital platforms (social, web, apps, etc.)
  • Conduct research studies to better understand consumer behaviour, benchmark competitors and analyze business landscapes
  • Develop presentations, making use of effective data visualization and communication, distilling key points and takeaways to enlighten client & internal teams, providing recommendations and drive action
  • Help define best practices as it pertains to insights & analytics approaches to provide support for individuals and the team

what you'll bring.

  • Strong experience (4+ years) in quant. / qual. social analysis roles, ideally including having worked closely with social analytics teams (client and agency side)
  • Excellent technical skills, including advanced knowledge of social platform analytics (Meta, X, TikTok, SnapChat and Pinterest), social listening and analytics tools (Sprinklr, Meltwater, Sprout, Brandwatch, Socialbakers etc.) and excel spreadsheets and formulas
  • Leadership experience, through projects you have led, campaigns you have impacted, client relationships you have built
  • You are outcome oriented, and can take a business challenge or social opportunity, create actionable analytical insights against it, and align stakeholders on actions to create business value
  • You get excited about answering questions like :
  • Why did / didn't a piece of content work?
  • How can we build on successful content to make it even better?
  • What are high-performing trends and tactics we're seeing in the social space that
  • would work for our client?

  • You not only “get” social, but you have the ability to use data and analytics to inform content optimization opportunities and measurements of success
  • You are naturally curious, always looking to understand consumer behaviours, their mindset, needs and wants
  • Passion for and demonstrated experience leveraging social media data to drive creative strategies
  • Driven by a curiosity of leveraging AI tools to advance our clients work and objectives.
