Position: Production Worker

• Entry level position

• Day and Night Shifts

• Markham Area

If you are a hardworking and committed worker, experienced with manufacturing of steel tubing; you will be interested in this full-time position in the Markham area.

The Company

Our client is a top leader with many years’ of experience in manufacturing of custom tubing components.

Position Summary

• Assist other workers by putting stainless steel tubing into a cleaning machine

• You will also be responsible for repairing defective tubes by placing them into a brushing machine

• You will also be operating a Cut-Off machine and de-burring tubes by hand

• You will need to check that quality meets all product expectations according to specific work orders

• Complete production logs and reports as required

• Monitor by regular and routine inspections

Skills and Knowledge

• Demonstrates responsibility, initiative and good attitude

• Must be detail oriented and a perfectionist

• Good communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions

• Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot on the bench by being aware of deficiencies

• Able to maintain good working relationships with co-workers and supervisors

• Heavy lifting up to 40lbs
