Job Description

Shift: Day Shift, full time

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Driver will be expected to transport and deliver building materials to our dealers, distribution centers and/or construction job sites using a 5 ton cube truck. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top‑notch customer service.

• Perform pre & post-trip inspections thoroughly
• Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment
• Immediately report any necessary repairs and/or maintenance needed
• Actively ensure compliance with DOT guidelines
• Verify entire content loads prior to leaving manufacturing facility or job site
• Follow all safety procedures for transporting goods
• Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm with overtime as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Valid Class5
• 2 years commercial truck driving experience
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs / 2 man lifting
• Multi-drop delivery experience a plus
• Ability to work independently or with a team
• Ability to plan and manage time efficiently
• Ability to work safely throughout the day and prevent unsafe conditions
