Your Challenge :
Engineer, Design, Develop and Test new embedded hardware at the forefront of technology.
Support and enhance existing embedded hardware
Apply established development processes and assist in process improvement
Analyze requirements, research and identify solutions and develop the design
Generate complete and accurate user and design documentation
Provide input to architecture and design reviews
Provide input and evaluation of new technologies and products
Keep current with embedded hardware trends and share knowledge
Contribute to the release of manufacturing technical data packages for products
Participate in maintaining a positive and productive atmosphere within the team.
What You Bring :
Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Computer or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
5+ years Board level development and hands on lab experience (Co-Op experience is applicable)
Experience / familiarity in the following is an asset :
Experience working with a multi-disciplined team
Familiar with a product development process
Familiar with hardware test equipment – logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.
Familiarity with principles of high-speed digital circuit board design including signal integrity concepts
Design capture tools (preferably Mentor Graphics)
Requirements capture, analysis and tracking
Hobby projects with Raspberry Pi and / or Arduino
Familiarity with FPGAs

A strong understanding of electronics and engineering principals and application to real world use.
