Respond to customer inquiries (phone, fax, mail, e-mail) in a timely fashionInitiate dispute resolutions, including preparation of backup documentation as requiredEngage and / or escalate to appropriate individuals within the organization to assist in dispute resolutionProcess customer payments, credits and rebills, with strong attention to detail in keeping with financial regulations, approvals and auditing requirementsPerform account maintenance as requested, including account creation, address / name / PO changes, billing structure adjustments, and invoicing requirements – all while observing approval requirementsRecommend, where appropriate, submission of customer accounts to outside collections agencies, bad debt write-off, and communicate bankruptcy noticesAssist and collaborate with Territory Managers and other departments on matters related to customer care, with a keen focus on delivering the best service possibleCoordinate account financial adjustments, offsets, write-offs, and payment researchFacilitate invoice payment by promoting various software tools available to our customersCovering team members’ leave (vacation, medical, etc.) and filling in as requiredOther duties as business needs change or evolveQualifications :
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaCompletion of a 2-year Degree or Diploma, preferably in Office Administration, Accounting, or equivalent experience2 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environmentA keen eye for detail and problem-solvingStrong customer service skills and professional demeanorExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCapable of working both individually and as part of a team, sometimes with minimal supervisionAbility to multi-task and maintain calm under pressureMotivated to continuously learn and adapt to new challenges and opportunities, with the ability to cross-train for efficiency purposes and professional developmentSolid working knowledge of MS Office, especially Word & ExcelA positive attitude and collaborative spirit – with the ability to work as part of a diverse teamAre you interested in this position?
