Altis Recruitment is grateful to partner with an organization within the Broader Public Sector to support the recruitment of a Talent Acquisition Specialist.
This is an exciting 12-month contract opportunity, working 3x / week in the office in Surrey, BC. We can also consider candidates located in Kelowna, BC.

Responsibilities :
- Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria
- Conduct full-cycle recruitment for internal and external hiring requirements
- Build applicant pool, develop sourcing strategies, shortlist candidates, negotiate offers
- Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks
- Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position
- Compile lists of most-suitable candidates by assessing their CVs, portfolios, and references
- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline
- Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders
Qualifications :
- 2+ years of experience in a talent acquisition, generalist or similar role
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
- Unionized experience is required
- Experience supporting organizations within the Broader Public Sector is required
- Experience with SuccessFactors considered an asset
