VP of Engineering

VP of Engineering – LeddarTech

VP of Engineering is a member of the executive team responsible for scaling LeddarTech’s Sensor Fusion and Perception Software solutions for ADAS and automotive AD. The role oversees global software engineering, budgeting, team performance, and strategic growth initiatives including M&A.

Key Responsibilities

• Set the vision for next‑generation AI‑based software and deliver embedded solutions that drive customer satisfaction and business results.
• Collaborate with Product Strategy, Business Development, and cross‑functional teams to develop and execute a comprehensive product roadmap and ensure on‑time, on‑spec releases.
• Build high‑performing cross‑functional teams across ALGO / AI, Embedded Software, System Engineering, Data, DevOps, V&V, and Application Support.
• Define and implement processes for design, testing, and launch of new software products and features using ASPICE and industry best practices.
• Measure operational efficiency with KPIs and continually improve processes, prioritizing critical investment areas.
• Monitor execution, anticipate issues, mobilize delivery teams, and adjust priorities as needed.
• Mitigate company‑wide engineering execution risks and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and external service providers.
• Support global OEMs and Tier‑1 / 2 customers, negotiate partnership agreements, and align strategy with internal and external stakeholders.
• Build an efficient, agile engineering culture that delivers on‑time and on‑budget.
• Stay abreast of automotive industry trends and emerging AI technologies.
